A total of 18 foursomes and an additional 75 guests participated in the First Annual Joe Torre Safe At Home® Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. Total gross proceeds for the event exceeded $545,000 which included a variety of sports memorabilia silent auction items and a live auction for a Mercedes SLK. Among those participating were Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and Sandy Koufax. Media coverage included ESPN Cold Pizza, WFAN Radio, Newsday and The New York Post.
