Thanks to everyone who supported the Joe Torre Safe At Home® Foundation’s gala event on November 9th. Over $2 million was raised to end the cycle of domestic violence and help support Margaret’s Place.
 
Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Katie Couric, Yogi Berra and over 750 other guests helped us celebrate our fifth successful year. On center stage a “roast” was held for Bernie Williams. Participating in the fun were: Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada, Bob Costas and Joe Torre.

Billy Crystal provided the comedic entertainment and guests were treated to an impromptu musical pairing of Bernie Williams and Bruce Springsteen.

We hope to see you at next year’s gala and appreciate your continued support in helping the Joe Torre Safe At Home® Foundation throughout the tri-state area.
